Build strength with the Turkish get up💪🏽

Strength is simple. But it’s not easy.

If your goal is to be strong, be supple and be the savage you’re meant to be… we have to broaden our physical capabilities by putting our body through loads, explore different ranges of motions and get comfortable being uncomfortable.

This starts by us learning, controlling and owning our movement quality.

The Turkish Get-up is one of my favourite movements. The movement takes you from lying on the floor to standing upright, all while holding a kettlebell above your head. The full-body exercise is great for improving coordination and shoulder stability so that you can lift heavy things and avoid injuring the vulnerable shoulder joint.
