5 REASONS YOU'RE NOT SEEING RESULTS IN YOUR WORKOUTS
I COMPILED FIVE REASONS WHY YOU’RE NOT SEEING RESULTS IN YOUR WORKOUTS.
Do you feel like you are spinning the wheels in it comes to your workouts? You’ve been working out for a while and not seeing results?
😩You're frustrated, confused, and feel like giving up.
We’ve all been there! As a fitness coach I’m going to share the top 5 reasons why people struggle with getting results:
1️⃣You lack consistency 🗓
In order to see results, you need to be consistent with your workouts. If you're working out 3 days a week here, one day a week there, and then take a break for two weeks... well, you're definitely not going to see the results you want! You need to stay consistent. Whether that be three workouts a week or five, it’s important to keep a routine. Figure out what time works best for you to get your workout done and on what days, and stick to it!
2️⃣You’re not lifting heavy enough 🏋🏻♀️
I’m sorry but your baby 5lbs weights that your favourite fit-fluencer is using in her video on demand workouts is not going to help you build muscles to sculpt your body.
3️⃣You’re not eating enough protein🍗
95% of my clients when I get them to track their protein intake are not even aware that they’ve been lacking this important macronutrient.
4️⃣Your sleep sucks. 🛌
The true transformation to turn your hard work at the gym is through SLEEP and RECOVERY.
This is when your body releases large amounts of beneficial hormones and elicits repair programs to build you up better than before.
5️⃣You’re eating and drinking too much highly processed hyper-palatable foods.🍕🧋
Hyper-palatable foods are those that combine at least two of these components in ways that trick your brain into overeating: sugar, fat, sodium, and carbohydrates. The category is largely made up of things like potato chips and desserts and food scientist have figured out the formulas to make you over eat them. This is why it’s so easy to eat a whole bag of chips but you can’t eat a whole bag of apples in one sitting.
As much as I talk about sleep in my posts, it is still the one thing I struggle with and working on.
What is one thing you can focus on this week to help you achieve your fitness goals?
